A group of professors, engineers, and technical experts with over 25 years of experience founded the Fanavaran Elm va San’at Sahand – FESSCO Pump Company with the goal of bridging the gap between industry and academia and creating indigenous knowledge at the national level.
This company leverages academic expertise, the up-to-date technical knowledge of its members, and advanced hardware and software systems—such as 7-laser 3D scanners, 3D printers, and software like Catia, Fluent, CFX, and CFTurbo—to provide services in the design, technical and engineering consulting, optimization, and manufacturing of pumps and spare parts for a wide range of electro-pumps used in steel, chemical, water and wastewater, oil, gas, petrochemical, and mining industries.
With the support of its experienced staff and high-level consultants, the company aims to maximize the fulfillment of industrial needs, reduce dependency on foreign sources, and enhance national economic profitability through entrepreneurship and increasing GDP.

Through its work in design, reverse engineering, manufacturing of centrifugal pumps, repairing and producing spare parts, providing technical and engineering consulting services, preparing technical documents and equipment manuals according to international standards, FESCO aims to meet the highest possible demands of industries.

Hydraulic and mechanical design and production of various centrifugal, mixed-flow, and axial-flow pumps

Cavitation improvement in the impeller of a Cherpley pump through optimization and reverse engineering
Design of an 11-stage high-pressure pump with 100 bar working pressure according to API610-BB4
Cavitation enhancement in the impeller of CPK 350-400 pump through optimization and re-engineering
Pump Design
Using software such as CFTurbo, Bladegen, Pumplinx, and Numeca, hydraulic design of turbomachinery components (impellers, blades, volutes, etc.) is performed.
Before production, flow simulation and optimization are carried out using Fluent or ANSYS CFX. Then the 3D model is prepared and enters the production process.
With this knowledge, we can design, reverse engineer, and optimize various pump types and prototypes.
